Visible blindness in the urban world society's relation to light now and then

The diploma thesis is focused on city in time and age of artificial lighting. It takes the issue of light pollution as its starting point. Elementary sources and consequences of over- lighting are used as a base for the Forgotten Dark worksheets. The sheets were created in collaboration with Veřejný sál Hraničár (Public Hall Hraničář) as an educational material for the gallery cycle Light. Together with the sheets, a need to widen my knowledge and apply it to a specific situation arose. I picked Obchodní dům Prior and Kulturní středisko Corso (Shopping Mall Prior and Culture Center Corso) in the neighborhood of Krásné Březno for that purpose. The pick of the place directed the development of the themes of the theoretical part of the thesis. The middle part of the thesis is trying to show contemporary city from two essential angles. Firstly, I tried to answer the question about sources of the shape contemporary city has taken upon itself. The rest is focused on building public spaces in regard to their nighttime flow. The final chapter is exploring the object of Corso. At first It is trying to take a look at the context of the city part of Krásné Březno, then it is taking a look at the city part in context of Ústí nad Labem. Proposal of Site Facilities

The thesis focuses on the description of the function and structure of the site facilities, requirements for the planning and implementation and operation of the project of the front mill room. Without a detailed description of these aspects is not possible to design a functional operational site of this type of project. So the aim of this thesis is to provide necessary theoretical base, that is later applied on the concrete construction of the pre-grinding hall in Prachovice cement works.

The subject of the thesis is the development of project documentation for building permit apartment building. The building is located on the outskirts of the village Svijany. The terrain is slightly sloping. Near the plot was carried out geological exploration. The foundations are made with concrete passports. Floor plan of the house is rectangular. The house is made of brick masonry technology blocks Porotherm. The house is covered with a gable roof with tin roofs with a slope of 15 °.

Application for Payment Terminals Control and Remote Management

The goal of this thesis is to create control software for stand-alone payment machines. The purpose of this software is minimize maintenance cost and usability as much as possible. Description of technologies and protocols used in implementation are in the text. Next, there is process of work beginning with analysis, continues with design, construction, testing and installation manual. Projekt status and product utilization at the end of project is in chapter about evaluation.

HW and SW for Ethernet-to-IEEE802.15.4 bridge

In this work we deal with the converter, to serve as a bridge between the two protocols. These protocols are Ethernet and wireless IEEE 802.15.4 protocol. Wireless part of this work, however, I simulated via serial RS 232nd After Ehternetu can send data via TCP or UPD protocol. First is the need for a converter to connect to the network and then create a packet. Finally, it is necessary to also address the views received and sent data via Ethernet and the RS-232.

Project documentation for the design of data networks

This Master’s thesis deals with project of blueprints for installation of data cabling in specific building following regulations. Theoretical part describes basic overview of used regulations and principles of data networks with focus on Ethernet and Wi-Fi standards. Separated chapters cover passive layer of data networks and computer-aided-design. Practical part contains implementational and architectural drawing of data network project in multipurpose building. According to these plans the project could be realized.

The large family home-working stage lower and upper rough construction

In this thesis is dealt with structurally lower technological phase and superstructure construction of a large family house in Brumov - Bylnice. The work is divided into multiple stages. In the first stage we classify excavationof the foundation pit and foundation trenches. Other stages deal with the casting of reinforced concrete strips and plates, pools walls, one on the 1st floor masonry bearing walls and concreting theceiling. The construction of these parts are processed technological procedures, inspection and test plans, their time complexity, design of appropriate mechanical assemblies and also is taken into account healthand safety in the workplace.

Analysis of Converged Networks by Simulations

The primary purpose of this study is to analyze converged high-speed networks with the usage of Matlab and Simuling. To set problematic area in the field of high-speed networks and solve this problem by creating a model of measurement and simulation of this model. A laboratory exercise is afterwards created on the specific problem.

Sports and Leisure Centre Brno

The theme of the dissertation titled the Centre of Sport and Leisure Time in Brno is a design of a relaxing and sport site „Centrum Lužánky“. The subject of this project is architectonic-city-planning study, which deals with elaborating a concept of a sport centre behind Lužánky in Brno-Ponava. This dissertation contains details of the facility and the area of the current swimming pool Lužánky. The current state of the facility built in 1979 doesn’t meet requirements of visitors and sportsmen anymore. The main aim of this project is the reconstruction of the current fifty-meter swimming pool, a design of a new swimming pool placed under the ground floor of the current building, which will provide space for organizing international competitions, trainings of professional sportsmen, etc. At the same time the busyness of the current swimming pools would be lowered by building a new indoor and outdoor waterpark, especially for the group of recreational visitors. The attractiveness of the facility will be increased by the newly designed park relaxing area and proposed multipurpose area, used as a sports field in the summer and as an ice ring in the winter. Additional value of the facility is comprised by an indoor and outdoor café and large relaxing area on the roof of the waterpark. The whole area increases the community facility availability by a proposed wide range of services for health, relax and sport. The advantage of the whole concept is the mutual connection of all facilities. The entrance to the area is shortened by a designed pedestrian bridge, accessible from the south and north busy areas. The whole project is enhanced by increased number of new parking places, located particularly along the access road, the street Sportovní, going through a green zone. The road and parking places are proposed in the design of residential streets, respecting walking pedestrians. The area has a very rich sport history, which is dated back to 1922. New form of participation in restoration of small and middle cities

Main goal is analyse of contemporary status in restoration of Low Austria and South Moravia and eduction of results for steps which are leading to successful restoration in future. Confrontation of present method in restoration of country Low Austria and South Moravia and sighting of current trends in restoration on european level can show the way to project, when we want to pass on experience and to indicate the support of restoration and to participace with restoration abroad. Creating of vision is really good satisfaction of the work. Between limit South Moravia and Low Austria we can see historical parallel. I tis famous time of Austria – Hungarian monarchy, but also eco - devastation without plans and agro culture. Small and middle small cities of South Moravia begins in time after revolution with searching of new identity, with searching of new ways how to hold out market rivalry to another cities. Rightly effort to unfold and develop current system after the fashion of friends from Low Austria.
